Religion is the crutch of the weak. Only those that are afraid of the unknown require an explanation for existence. It is a crime to teach children that some omnipotent deity is watching their every action to ensure that they stay in line. This works for some, but any child with an ounce of intelligence will see past the lies and then assume anything they're told are lies.

The belief that man has an inherent right to procreate is insane. Only those that have the support mechanisms to support another life should be allowed to breed. Many of the problems we have as a society stem from this. People need to get it through their heads that their choice to have children affect society at large. It is not just their immediate family that carry the burden. If you're unable to pay for everything your child needs, don't have one! There shouldn't be federal/state programs to help people pay for their children! We didn't have your kid for you nor are we a part of your family! Society is also not responsible for raising your child, nor are they responsible for ensuring your children know right from wrong. There's absolutely nothing wrong with beating children if they do something wrong.
